Summary
One thing about growing up in the Great Depression was there was no obesity problem. It wasn't so much because of a lack of food, although everyone was careful and gluttony was a mortal sin. We got that about a lot things. Fear of God was supposed to make us behave.
Most of the time it worked. You might be surprised at some of the discussions among 10-year-olds about predestination and heaven and hell. None of us doubted the existence of God. We believed what we were told in Sunday School.See the full content of this document
