Some 700 volunteers fanned out across San Bernardino County late last week to help make sure the area's neediest residents are counted and, hopefully, get the services they need.
The "Point-in-Time Count" of the homeless population, conducted Thursday at various locations, was a biannual effort to survey the number of people living on county streets.
