REDLANDS - City officials have reached out to the state for financial help to repair or replace Safety Hall, but the state said it believes Redlands can foot the bill itself.
A Dec. 29 letter to city staff denied the city access to California Disaster Assistance recovery funds. The letter said the city could afford to pay for the rehabilitation of Safety Hall, and state funds were not necessary.See the full content of this document
