REDLANDS - About 75 police officers, cadets and search-and- rescue team members fanned out across fields south of Interstate 10 near Ford Street on Friday, continuing a search for physical evidence and remains of a homicide victim that had been decomposing on the slope, possibly for months.
About noon Wednesday, a work crew clearing brush in the area spotted the head and torso of what was later determined to be a woman at least 20 years old, about 5 feet tall and 120 to 130 pounds, police said. The woman's limbs were found during searches of the area later that day and Thursday, said Carl Baker, spokesman for the Redlands Police Department.See the full content of this document
