A man who killed a teen girl while robbing her aunt and uncle's Fontana business more than a decade ago will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Although prosecutors have pushed to execute 34-year-old Earl Eugene Rose Jr., they relented today and agreed not to retry him after a jury in the penalty phase deadlocked at 10-2 in favor of life in prison.
