A few weeks ago, we made a change to the commenting system on our website, switching the mechanism by which readers share their opinions on stories we publish.
The old system, which was a plug-in to our site, allowed readers to post comments with an instant log-in and had very little in the way of validation or verification of who the commenters were. Essentially, it made it very easy for people to post anonymously.See the full content of this document
