VICTORVILLE - A fight between a man and woman over a child late Tuesday ended in the killing of the man by a sheriff's deputy after he aimed a gun at the deputy, authorities said.

Ibn Rasheed Jones, 28, died along the southbound side of the 15 Freeway near Amargosa Road after a short foot chase.
