BLOOMINGTON -- Amid the clutter of children's toys, broken appliances and tattered sofa cushions in a rural back yard, members of a countywide task force uncovered a stolen car chop shop Wednesday.

As a rooster crowed in the background, investigators from the sheriff's department, the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino Police Department arrested two Bloomington brothers suspected of running the illegal enterprise that may have responsible for the theft of as many as 15 vehicles.
