BEAUMONT - The California Highway Patrol shut down all westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway for about a five-mile stretch this morning due to multiple car crashes and heavy fog near the 10 Freeway interchange.
The first of several crashes occurred at 4:21 a.m. and involved a vehicle whose driver crashed into the side of a mountain, said Officer Jeremy Pursley. Officers arrived on scene and discovered visibility was less than 20 feet.See the full content of this document
