RUNNING SPRINGS -- A suspected drunken driver who slid his car off Highway 18 this morning was found after he crawled back up the hillside to the road.

Someone near Rim of the World Church found the 22-year-old man after he made it back to the road, said California Highway Patrol Officer Albert Graciano. The witness said the man had been injured in a car crash, but the man's Ford Focus was nowhere to be found. The CHP received a report of the crash near All View Drive at 4:40 a.m.
