Delay in Search for Teen's Body Attributed to Discovery of Pig's Skin

Summary


An ongoing search for the body of a pregnant Bloomington teen was delayed Tuesday after a large piece of pig's skin was discovered at a Rialto landfill, police say.

While search crews excavated a section of the Mid-Valley Landfill for any sign of 17-year-old Anyssia Escamilla, they found a piece of skin about 4:30 p.m. and sent it to the coroner's office for examination.
