Summary
The ruins of hundreds of homes destroyed in the San Bernardino Mountains during the catastrophic Old Fire in 2003 will be leveled and cleared away by the first snow of winter, Supervisor Neil Derry said today.
The Board of Supervisors authorized the county's land use services department to move forward in its plan to dig up concrete slabs, level standing chimneys and stabilize slopes in the Cedar Glen area near Lake Arrowhead, where 324 homes were destroyed by the devastating wildland fire, which authorities believe was the work of an arsonist.See the full content of this document
