Cal Poly Pomona received a $248,043 U.S. Department of Agriculture grant to train dietetic students to meet the needs of the Latino community, college officials said this week.
The grant will allow Human Nutrition and Food Science undergraduates to take new courses that develop Spanish-language skills, knowledge of Latino culture and food and health issues, according to Cal Poly's online magazine Poly Centric.See the full content of this document
