Thousands of U.S. firefighters worked California's wildfires in 2003 and, in all likelihood, many of them were exposed to cancer- causing chemicals.
While most won't get sick, the risk is still there with any firefighting job. As a way to financially protect this country's public safety employees who are diagnosed with cancer, Rep.
