San Bernardino County's lawsuit against the county's transportation agency is sabotaging prosecution of a sweeping county corruption case, an attorney in the lawsuit is alleging.

Attorney: Case Is Sabotaged
The county sued the three entities in 2004, alleging they were responsible for the design and construction of an Upland storm drain that damaged a private developer's property by diverting stormwater onto it. The developer, Colonies Partners LP, sued the county in 2002 and ultimately won a $102 million settlement in November 2006.
