Appellate Court Upholds Ruling Against Flesh Club

Summary


A state appellate court left no doubt this week that the Flesh Club in San Bernardino was a house of prostitution when the city shut it down last year.

It also ruled that the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution offered no protection for the conduct of sex for pay. Manta had alleged that shutting down the club under the Red Light Abatement Law violated its First Amendment right to present erotic dancing.
