$8.1 Million Grant to Fund Research Center

Summary


Eliminating health disparities affecting communities throughout the Inland Empire will be the main focus of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine's new Center for Health Disparities Research.

The new center, which was introduced at a March 1 news conference, will be established in the university's Mortensen Hall. It was made possible by an $8.1 million grant from the National Center for Health Disparities and Minority Health, National Institutes of Health.
